Earl Grey Tea May Offer Anxiety Relief

Natural Oil of Bergamot in Earl Grey tea may actually help people who suffer from various psychological medical conditions. Whether a person suffers from anxiety, depression or stressful emotions, a cup of warm, soothing Earl Grey tea may help to lessen these symptoms. The Bergamot oil found in Earl Grey tea is responsible for lessening symptoms commonly associated with negative moods. However, it is important to buy Earl Grey tea that contains natural Bergamot oil instead of tea containing artificial Bergamot flavoring.

I personally enjoy drinking Bigelow Earl Grey tea that contains 100 percent natural oil of Bergamot. Each bag of Bigelow tea is individually wrapped to ensure freshness of the tea and natural Bergamot oil. The tea has an exquisite flavor, especially when infused with a good dose of natural, raw or organic honey.

I personally enjoy drinking a cup of Bigelow Earl Grey Tea two or three times a week. The natural Bergamot oil gives this tea a slightly spicy taste that has a richer flavor than ordinary black tea. Tea automatically has less caffeine than coffee, so the harmful effects attributed to caffeine are not nearly as great.

It is also a good idea to drink a variety of different kinds of tea that includes green tea, with its beneficial antioxidants, and herbal teas that do not contain caffeine. I enjoy a cup of Trader Joe's hot peppermint tea that offers a strong peppermint flavor or a Bigelow blend that contains both peppermint and spearmint. I also like to drink chamomile tea and other herbal blends.

People who suffer from insomnia may sleep better if they drink tea containing caffeine in the morning or early afternoon and herbal tea in the evening. By the way, for those who appreciate drinking certified kosher tea, all Bigelow tea varieties are 100 percent kosher.
